Do I Need a Visa?

Participants from many countries require a Schengen Short-Stay Visa (Type C) to enter Italy for conferences or business-related travel.

Requesting an Official Invitation Letter

The Nano Series Secretariat provides Invitation Letters only to registered participants (after completing registration and payment). The letter supports your visa application but does not guarantee visa approval.

How to Request Your Invitation Letter

Please include the following details:

  • Full name (as in passport)
  • Passport number & nationality
  • Date of birth
  • Institution / Affiliation & designation
  • Country of residence
  • Registration confirmation / proof of payment
  • Accepted abstract details (if presenting)
  • Intended travel dates (arrival & departure)
  • Whether you require a digital or original signed letter

Processing time: 5–7 working days.

Your issued letter will include:

  • Your full name, nationality & passport number
  • Conference name: Nano Series 2026
  • Event dates and location (Turin, Italy)
  • Your role (participant / presenter)
  • Confirmation of registration
  • Organizing Secretariat contact details for verification
  • Official signature and stamp
