Health & Safety Guidelines for All Participants
✔ Stay home if unwell
If you experience symptoms such as fever, cough, cold, or any illness, please refrain from attending in-person sessions and inform the Secretariat immediately.
✔ Maintain good personal hygiene
- Wash your hands frequently.
- Use sanitizers placed at all venue entrances and common areas.
- Avoid touching your face after public transport or shared surfaces.
✔ Masks & sanitizers available
While not mandatory, masks are recommended in crowded indoor spaces (poster halls, plenary areas, break queues).
Free masks and sanitizers will be available at multiple points.
✔ Respect personal space
Allow reasonable physical distancing during breaks, lunches, and networking events.
✔ Report any health or safety concern immediately
Our staff, volunteers, and venue personnel are trained to assist. If something concerns you, reach out right away.
Venue Safety & Hygiene Protocols
- All lecture halls, breakout rooms, and common spaces at Politecnico di Torino will be cleaned and sanitized before and after sessions.
- Hand-sanitizer stations will be placed at entrances, hallways, restrooms, and dining zones.
- Emergency exits and evacuation routes will be clearly marked and shown on the venue map.
- First-aid and onsite medical support will be available during all conference hours.
- Trained staff will be present to help with any safety, health, or accessibility needs.
- The Nano Series Safety & Conduct Code ensures zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior.
